How can I qualify for the Poker tournament – GSPO12?
If you want to be part of the Golden Spade Poker Open, this is the right place to find all the necessary information. We offer several ways to qualify and secure your spot at these million-dollar tables.
First, keep in mind that there are different paths to enter. To choose the best one for you, consider the buy-in amount, your availability and your own goals.
The High Roller path
Before diving into the details of the High Roller path, it’s important to understand what "High Roller" means and how it impacts the playing style. A High Roller event involves high buy-ins, making these tournaments relatively expensive. Pay attention to this detail before deciding if this is the right path for you.
However, in the Golden Spade Poker Open 12, the High Roller path offers several satellite tournaments with much more affordable buy-ins. These events are available in the Poker Lobby every day starting at 00:02 ET.
Playing on the edge (Grinder path)
The Grinder path is one of the most economical ways to reach important events like the USD 212,000 GTD. If you do well, you can win USD 212,000 by paying just USD 1. Sounds interesting, right? Every Sunday, you have the opportunity to participate in the USD 212,000 GTD event, which takes place at 16:11 ET. You can secure your spot by playing in the satellite tournaments every day at 0:12, 2:12, 5:12, 6:12, 8:12, 9:12, 11:12, 12:12, 13:12, and 17:12 ET.
Sit & Go
Sit & Go tournaments are very fast-paced. As the name suggests, these tournaments start when a table is filled with 6 players and end quickly. By playing this type of tournament, you can secure a seat at a higher-level table in a matter of minutes. You can find this format with various buy-in amounts and schedules.
Satellite Events
What would a great Open Poker tournament series be without a good number of satellites? A satellite event is a tournament whose prize is an entry to a larger tournament. The main prize of a satellite tournament can guarantee your entry to a higher buy-in tournament. Play in the satellites and work your way to the GSPO12 Main Event. Win thousands of dollars by investing very little.
The Golden Spade Poker Open 12 Main Event
The Main Event of the Golden Spade Poker Open 12 will be on Sunday, 11/17, and will deliver USD 250,000 in guaranteed prizes. The buy-in to play is USD 425 + USD 25 and allows four re-entries. The Mini Main Event takes place on the same day, also with four re-entries, and will have USD 112,000 in guaranteed prizes with a buy-in of USD 100 + USD 9.
You can also exchange Poker Coins for tickets. The more you play, the more Coins you earn.
